Founding
Founded by Dr. Robert Brace and Dr. Walter Neller, establishing one of the longest-running podiatry practices in the Rio Grande Valley.
Foot Center was founded in 1978 by Dr. Robert Brace and Dr. Walter Neller. Dr. Tin Quach joined the practice as an associate before becoming a partner, and — following Dr. Brace’s retirement in 2015 — assumed full leadership, continuing a longstanding tradition of service to the Rio Grande Valley.
The practice maintains its foundation in evidence-based, conservative care while integrating newly acquired technologies to offer advanced diagnostic and treatment options. We are one of only two podiatry offices in the Valley that have been around this long — no one else has been here as long as we have.

Every patient is treated like family — with kindness, respect, and the time they deserve.
We exhaust conservative treatments before considering surgery. Your health outcome always comes first.
One of the longest-standing podiatry practices in the Valley — deeply invested in the families we serve.
“Patient health should always come before profits. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and create treatment plans that prioritize their well-being.”

Podiatric Surgeon
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine - Barry University, FL
Born in Vietnam and raised in Sweden, Dr. Quach brings a unique international perspective — and genuine warmth — to every patient encounter. He is fluent in Swedish and English, and speaks Vietnamese, Chinese, French, and is currently learning Spanish.
My passion for podiatric medicine began when I served as a field nurse in the Swedish Army. A knee injury I sustained while playing professional soccer in my youth taught me firsthand what it means to lose mobility—and how much it matters to get it back. That experience drives everything I do today.
I earned my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University in Florida and completed residencies at Cedars Medical Center and East Jefferson General Hospital in Louisiana. In 2005, I joined Foot Center as a foot specialist and surgeon, and I’ve been privileged to serve this community ever since.
Over the past 21+ years, I’ve diagnosed and treated neighbors in McAllen, Weslaco, and surrounding communities—addressing everything from minor infections to complex cases requiring limb salvage. McAllen has become my home. The Rio Grande Valley is my community. I married here, and my daughter was born in Weslaco. This is where my life is.
I wasn’t born in the United States, and I’m not of Hispanic heritage—but I profoundly identify with the Hispanic community that has embraced me and my family. My patients, my dedicated staff, and the people of this Valley are the reasons I love what I do. Every day, I’m grateful to serve you.
